The palate is soft and fresh. Do you sense those morello cherry aromas with fine and chiselled tannins?
The bud break started at the end of March. Then, beginning of June, the flowering was accompanied by record rainfall. A cool and humid summer led to a slow veraison and ripening, before the harvest took place from the 23rd of September to the 7th of October. The thermal inertness of the clay soils of Saint-Estèphe was a real asset for the Pez vineyard in 2021.
