The Second Wine

2025

Raspberry, Bigarreau cherry and violet. How charming! Can you also detect the forest floor notes which are an elegant reminder of its Saint-Estèphe origins?

Black cherry and dark fruit emerge on the palate, but remain well-balanced with a fresh, ethereal and long-lasting sensation. Can you sense the fine, elegant tannins? They recall the morning freshness of a spring garden, don’t you think?

The 2025 vintage in Saint-Estèphe stands out for being well-balanced overall in terms of precipitation and temperatures, falling within the fifteen-year average. Generous showers during spring, combined with clay soils served as a natural regulator, allowing the vines to cope well with the summer drought.
